Permanent Residence

Family Sponsorship

Reunite with loved ones in Canada. We help citizens and permanent residents sponsor spouses, partners, children, parents and grandparents.

  • Spouses, common-law and conjugal partners
  • Dependent children
  • Parents and grandparents, where open

Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor certain family members to become permanent residents of Canada. As a sponsor, you commit to supporting your family member financially for a set period, and both you and the person you sponsor must meet IRCC’s requirements.

Family applications are personal and detailed — proving a genuine relationship and meeting every documentation requirement is essential.

Who it’s for

  • Canadian citizens and permanent residents sponsoring a spouse or partner
  • Parents sponsoring dependent children
  • Sponsors of parents and grandparents, when the program is accepting applications
  • Families who want an alternative such as the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa

How we help

  1. Eligibility review — we confirm that both sponsor and applicant meet the requirements and identify any issues early.
  2. Relationship evidence — guidance on documenting a genuine relationship clearly and completely.
  3. Application preparation — our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) prepare the sponsorship and permanent residence applications together.
  4. Ongoing support — we handle IRCC correspondence and keep you informed until a decision is made.
